🇨🇭 Dennis Busch

Dennis Busch was a professional endurance racer competing in multiclass and single-class GT racing. FIA Bronze-graded, he spent eight seasons with PHOENIX RACING in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national German championship that ran prototypes and production-based race cars across 15 classes in shared-driver format. He drove Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in the Cup 2 class and turbocharged and modified production machinery in the SP 3T and SP 7 classes. A single appearance in GT World Challenge Europe in 2021 with T2 Racing completed his indexed record.[1]

Busch took six wins and thirteen podiums across 52 starts in the Nürburgring series between 2010 and 2017, finishing 28th in the championship standings in his final season. His record came in a field mixing amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals, and he was closely matched against regular rivals Klaus Abbelen and Sabine Schmitz, both entry-level professionals who had won the same series. He finished ahead of Edoardo Mortara, an elite professional and 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series champion with extensive single-seater and Formula E experience, twice; he also beat António Félix da Costa, an established professional and dual champion of Formula E and WEC LMP2, in two meetings.[2]
