Christian Abt is a Silver-graded professional who raced in Formula 3 Macau and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship in which each car is shared by two or more drivers. He drove for Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline in the Nürburgring series, racing a GT3 car in the SP 9 class.[1]
His indexed record spans eight starts across both series from 1993 to 2011. In Formula 3 Macau he made four starts between 1993 and 1995 as an amateur or semi-professional entrant in a field mixing levels. His only podium came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he took two starts in 2011 and finished 28th in the championship standings.[2]
In his Nürburgring appearances Abt regularly finished ahead of established professionals including David Arnold Lance, the 2018 SP 9 Pro champion, and Richard Westbrook, a Platinum-graded driver and IMSA WeatherTech champion. He finished ahead of Yuji Tachikawa, a two-time Super GT champion, and Timo Bernhard, the 2016 WEC LMP1 champion, once each across his career.
