Christian Abt is a professional-level driver who raced in Formula 3 Macau and later in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national German multiclass endurance championship. He holds an FIA Silver grading, which places him below the full professional Platinum and Gold grades. His most substantial indexed racing came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 9 class, where he drove GT3 machinery for Abt Motorsport between 2010 and 2011.[1]
Abt contested four rounds of Formula 3 Macau for RC Motorsport across 1993 to 1995, racing in a mixed field of amateurs and professionals. His endurance career began in 2010 and ran to 2011, yielding a single podium finish from four Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts. He finished 28th in the SP 9 class championship standings in his final season.[2]
In a field that included established professionals such as Timo Bernhard, a WEC LMP1 champion, and Christophe Tinseau, a competitor across Formula 3000 and international GT racing, Abt finished ahead of both drivers on separate occasions.
