Otto Klohs is an entry-level professional racing in national pro-am multiclass endurance series. He holds an FIA Bronze grading, the amateur classification in sportscar racing. His primary home is the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he has made 45 starts for Renazzo Motorsport Team since 2013 in Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and GT3 machinery. He has also raced the 24H Series and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, competing in similar mixed-class fields where amateurs and semi-professionals share the grid with graded professionals.[1]
Across nine seasons of racing, Klohs has taken five podiums from 49 starts. Three came in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie; two arrived in the 24H Series during a two-year stint with Manthey Racing in 2017 and 2018. His record in endurance racing shows him capable of finishing ahead of established professionals. He has beaten Laurens Vanthoor, a Platinum-graded driver and three-time IMSA champion, on three occasions, and finished ahead of Formula E champion and WEC driver António Félix da Costa once.[2]
On the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie grid, Klohs runs regularly against Klaus Abbelen, a Bronze-graded peer and 2014 SP 9 champion with 90 starts in that series, and they remain closely matched. He usually finishes behind Frank Stippler, a Platinum-graded professional and 2021 SP 9 Pro champion with 107 starts in the series and credentials in WEC and GT World Challenge Europe. Klohs remains active; his most recent start was the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours.
