🏳️ Mark Bullitt

Mark Bullitt was a professional driver who raced in national-level endurance championships in Germany from 2010 to 2013. He competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass championship where amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals share the track across multiple classes and distances. Bullitt drove in three classes across his indexed career: the Cup 2 class with Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars, and the SP 7 and SP 9 classes with modified production-based and GT3 machinery. He completed ten starts for ROWE RACING and its Mercedes-Benz entries, which is among the established operations in the series with 21 wins across its full roster.[1]

Bullitt took two podiums across his four seasons in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, finishing 39th in the championship standings in 2013, his final season. In endurance racing a shared car means a driver's result reflects their co-drivers' pace and mistakes as well as their own, so the rating of 4,331 that places him as a professional should be weighed against the company he kept on track. He regularly raced against Dennis Busch, a Bronze-graded professional, and Christopher Brück, an entry-level professional and later Cup 2 champion, usually finishing behind Busch while holding his own against Brück. On single occasions Bullitt finished ahead of Laurens Vanthoor, an established professional with titles in IMSA WeatherTech and the World Endurance Championship, and Marco Wittmann, an established professional and 2011 Formula 3 European champion.[2]
