Mikey Taylor is a professional driver competing in national multiclass endurance racing in the United States. He races for Unitronic JDC-Miller MotorSports in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he pilots GT4-level production sports cars in the GS class and TCR touring cars in the TCR class. He holds an FIA Silver licence, the grading for drivers developing toward the full-professional grades in endurance racing. His most recent competition was the 2025 SCCA Runoffs, a national solo-racing championship in which he races a touring car in the STL class.[1]

Taylor won the 2024 IMSA Pilot Challenge, his first championship. Across nine seasons from 2018 to 2026, he has taken 12 wins and 22 podiums from 73 starts. His career has been built almost entirely within the Pilot Challenge, where 66 of those starts and 11 of his wins have come for the same team, Unitronic JDC-Miller MotorSports. He has made occasional forays into other racing; he won once in six starts at the SCCA Runoffs and took a podium in one start in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship in 2025, driving a GT3 car for Korthoff Competition Motors.[2]

The Pilot Challenge grid regularly mixes amateurs and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals, and Taylor has proven competitive at that level. He has raced closely against fellow FIA Silver professionals including Harry Gottsacker, a two-time TCR champion, and Mason Filippi, the 2026 TCR champion, matching them regularly across shared campaigns. His only outings against established professionals have come in higher-tier endurance racing; he finished ahead of James Calado, a four-time WEC LMGTE Pro champion and current WEC Hypercar driver, and Antonio Fuoco, a Formula 2 and WEC regular, once each.
