Matteo Cressoni is an entry-level professional, FIA Silver graded, competing in international multiclass endurance racing. He races for Iron Lynx in the World Endurance Championship and for Proton Competition in the European Le Mans Series, driving GT3 and GTE machinery in both. His record spans sixteen seasons from 2004 onward across single-seaters and GT racing, though his indexed career is defined by endurance competition at the top level.[1]

Across the WEC and European Le Mans Series, his primary platforms, Cressoni has taken 16 podiums from 70 starts. He won the 2021 European Le Mans Series championship with Iron Lynx, a season that yielded five wins from thirteen rounds. In the WEC, where he has made 42 starts since 2014, he holds five podium finishes. His record in IMSA WeatherTech stands at two podiums from eleven starts. He has added further podiums in the Le Mans Cup, the 24H Series and Asian Le Mans Series, the latter part of his current activity in 2025. In the 2026 WEC season, now in progress, he sits nineteenth in the championship standings after five rounds.[2]

In the endurance fields he inhabits, Cressoni races alongside professionals graded Platinum and Gold and against semi-professional and amateur entrants in shared-car competition. His regular opponents include Michelle Gatting and Sarah Bovy, both FIA Silver professionals with comparable experience across WEC and the European Le Mans Series; the three are closely matched across their head-to-head meetings. He has finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and three-time champion in North American single-seaters who moved into IMSA, on three occasions, and once ahead of Franco Colapinto, an elite Platinum-graded driver with Formula 1 experience.
