Christophe Bourret is a professional endurance racing driver, competing as a shared-car pilot in the FIA-graded Bronze amateur category. His indexed racing spans two seasons in the World Endurance Championship's LM GTE Am class, driving GTE cars for IMSA Performance Matmut and Larbre Competition from 2012 to 2013.[1]
Bourret made 11 starts across 2012 and 2013, taking one win and three podiums. His single victory came during the 2013 season, when he also finished tenth in the championship standings. The depth of his record is limited; he retired after 2013 and has not raced since.[2]
In the WEC's GTE Am grid, Bourret shared the track with established professionals and other amateurs racing the same machinery. He finished ahead of Julien Canal, an FIA Silver driver who would go on to win two LMP2 titles, on three separate occasions.
