Philippe Chatelet is an entry-level professional racing in international multiclass endurance championships. He competes in the 24H Series, where he drives GT3 and GT4 cars for Sainteloc Junior Team, and has made limited appearances in GT World Challenge Europe. His FIA Bronze grade places him among amateur and gentleman drivers racing in professional endurance fields.[1]
Chatelet has made five indexed starts across two series between 2018 and 2025, with one podium finish to his name, that result coming in the 24H Series. His most recent activity was in 2020 GT World Challenge Europe, where he finished 41st in the championship standings from a single race outing. His starts in the 24H Series, where he has contested three rounds, represent the bulk of his indexed endurance racing.[2]
He races in fields that mix amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals and established campaigners. Against Jonathan Hui, a regular Bronze-graded opponent, Chatelet typically finishes behind him. He has, however, finished ahead of Russell Ward, an established Silver-graded professional and two-time IMSA GTD champion, and Ian James, a Gold-graded professional with extensive international sportscar experience including WEC.
