Simon Orange is an entry-level professional driver competing in multiclass endurance GT racing, rated 3,918 on the Elo scale. He holds an FIA Bronze grading, the amateur tier in endurance racing. Orange drives GT3 cars for Orange Racing by JMH, the team he has raced for across 43 of his 47 career starts since 2021.[1]
Orange has built his record primarily in the British GT Championship and GT Winter Series. Across five seasons in British GT (2022–2026), he has taken a single podium from 25 starts. The GT Winter Series has been more fruitful; in two seasons (2025–2026) he has won three races and claimed nine podiums from 19 starts. His current 2026 GT Winter Series campaign sits third in the championship standings after 13 rounds, with two wins and seven podiums so far. He has also made brief appearances in shared-car endurance racing: a single start in the 24H Series in 2021, where he finished on the podium in the TCX class, and two starts in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2023.[2]
Orange races regularly against established professionals. He is closely matched with Andrew Howard, a Bronze-graded British GT regular with experience in Le Mans Cup and the World Endurance Championship, and with Martin Plowman, a Silver-graded driver who has contested Formula Renault Eurocup and Indy NXT. He has finished ahead of Dries Vanthoor, the 2021 GT World Challenge Europe champion, and Raffaele Marciello, a multiple GT World Challenge Europe champion and former FIA Formula 3 European title holder, once each.
