Martin Plowman is an entry-level professional racing driver from the United Kingdom, rated 3,625. He holds an FIA Silver grade, placing him below the full-professional Platinum and Gold levels in endurance and GT racing. Plowman races in the British GT Championship for Paddock Motorsport, a team he co-founded; he competes across the GT3, GT3PA and GT4 classes in this multiclass endurance series, sharing his car with co-drivers across a season that spans national and international rounds.[1]

His career spans 15 seasons from 2006 to the present, with 113 starts across multiple series. Early work came in Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula 3 Euro Series between 2006 and 2008, followed by a move into single-seaters through Indy NXT in 2010, where he took one win and three podiums from 13 starts. He contested five IndyCar rounds between 2011 and 2014, racing ovals and road courses, and appeared in IMSA WeatherTech endurance racing in 2014 and 2015. His most significant achievement came in 2013 with the World Endurance Championship, where he won the LMP2 driver and team championship, taking two wins and four podiums across seven rounds. Since 2019 he has focused on the British GT Championship, where he has completed 45 starts and taken two podiums.[2]

Among his career results, he has finished ahead of Daniel Ricciardo, who has raced 257 Formula 1 starts and won the 2010 Formula V8 3.5 championship, and Edoardo Mortara, a Platinum-graded driver who took the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series title, though these were isolated instances within single-seater racing early in his career rather than consistent patterns.
