🇬🇧 Callum MacLeod

Callum MacLeod is an entry-level professional racing in British GT Championship, a national multiclass endurance series in which GT3 cars are shared between two or more drivers per entry. He holds FIA Gold status, the full professional grade in sportscar racing. MacLeod drives for Optimum Motorsport and has completed 32 starts in the series since 2019.[1]

Across indexed racing spanning 2011 to the present, MacLeod has taken one win and three podiums from 40 starts. His sole victory came in British GT Championship. He spent a single season in GP3 Series in 2011, a six-start amateur-to-professional single-seater field, and made two appearances in GT World Challenge Europe in 2019 before concentrating on British GT. His record against the grid includes wins over Mitch Evans, a former GP3 champion who has since reached elite professional level in Formula E and the GP2 Series, and over Maro Engel, the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion.[2]

MacLeod's regular opponents in British GT are Martin Plowman, an entry-level professional with Formula Renault Eurocup and Indy NXT experience, against whom the record is closely split, and Sandy Mitchell, a Platinum-graded 2020 British GT champion and regular GT World Challenge Europe competitor whom MacLeod typically finishes behind. Greystone GT, his primary team, has fielded him in 17 of his British GT starts and operates as a small operation with four wins across its full entry list.
