David Markozov competed in the World Endurance Championship in 2015, completing two starts for AF Racing. He finished outside the top thirty on both occasions, with an average finishing position of fifth and a half across his classified races. His racing career was brief and confined to this single season in endurance motorsport.[1]
Markozov's results placed him ahead of several considerably stronger drivers in isolated instances. He finished ahead of Mikhail Aleshin, a Platinum-graded professional, on one occasion; Scott Sharp and Ryan Dalziel, both Platinum-graded professionals, twice each; and Ho-Pin Tung, a Gold-graded professional and former champion, once. These results were scattered across his limited competition rather than establishing a pattern of consistent competitiveness against that calibre.
AF Racing, the team fielding Markozov, recorded no race wins across the database and counted three drivers in its roster, of whom Aleshin was the strongest. Markozov has since retired from motorsport competition.
