🇸🇪 Oliver Söderström

Oliver Söderström is an entry-level professional racing driver competing for Comtoyou Racing in GT World Challenge Europe, where he races shared endurance cars in a mixed-amateur-and-professional field. The Swedish driver holds an FIA Silver grading, the step below the full-professional grades in sportscar racing. His career spans eight seasons from 2016 to the present, primarily in single-seaters and then latterly in GT and endurance machinery.[1]

His racing has been divided between open-wheel and circuit racing. He started in ADAC Formula 4 across 2016 and 2017, taking a single podium from 30 starts, and had a brief three-race stint in Italian F4. Since 2020 he has raced in endurance and GT competition, including two multiclass 24-hour races with Lestrup Racing Team in the 24H Series TCR class, both of which yielded podiums. His best result to date came in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe with Target Racing in 2023–2024, where he scored a win and two podiums from six starts. His current campaign in GT World Challenge Europe began in 2025 and continues into 2026, so far producing 7 starts; he also took a podium in four Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts with Walkenhorst Motorsport and completed one outing at the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours.[2]

The field in his formula cars included amateur and semi-professional drivers alongside graded professionals. In ADAC Formula 4 Söderström was closely matched with Leonard Hoogenboom and Louis Gachot, both entry-level professionals who competed at length in the series. His endurance campaigns have brought him into contact with significantly stronger opposition; he finished ahead of Charles Weerts, a Platinum-graded established professional and two-time GT World Challenge Europe champion, on eleven occasions, and ahead of David Malukas, an elite professional with extensive IndyCar and Indy NXT experience, four times. These victories against much stronger drivers came within multiclass and shared-car fields, where grid composition and pit strategy shape the outcome.
