Michelle Gatting is a professional endurance racing driver from Denmark competing at FIA Silver level, the grade for drivers developing toward the sport's top tier. She races for Iron Dames, the all-female team that has fielded her across multiclass championships since the team's inception. Her primary machinery is the GT3 car, which she has piloted in the World Endurance Championship, the European Le Mans Series and the Asian Le Mans Series; she has also raced GTE cars in European Le Mans competition and has made starts in IMSA WeatherTech and national-level endurance series.[1]

Across eight seasons indexed from 2019 to the present, Gatting has accumulated 88 starts and four wins. Her wins have concentrated in the European Le Mans Series, where she has taken three victories from 24 starts and collected eight podiums across her campaigns there; her sole WEC podium came in the 2019 season, and her record in the World Endurance Championship stands at five podiums across 32 starts. She finished fifteenth in the 2025 WEC standings. Her endurance partnership with Iron Dames has been consistent; the team has fielded multiple drivers across its tenure but Gatting remains among its most active competitors, and she competes in a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals in the same races.[2]

The drivers Gatting faces regularly include Matteo Cressoni, the 2021 European Le Mans Series LMGTE champion and an entry-level professional with 43 WEC starts to his name, and Claudio Schiavoni, who holds similar experience across the same series. Against both she has run closely matched. She has also beaten Matt Campbell, an established professional and reigning IMSA WeatherTech GTP champion, three times across their shared races; Campbell is the strongest driver she has finished ahead of in her career.
