Augusto Farfus is a Brazilian racing driver and longtime BMW Motorsport works driver, based in Monaco. Over the course of his career he built a reputation across sports car and touring car competition, highlighted by two overall victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona, in 2019 and 2020, four class wins at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge title alongside Nicky Catsburg, and overall honors at the 2018 FIA GT World Cup. That breadth of success established him as one of BMW's most trusted endurance racing representatives.[1]
Currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Team WRT, Farfus has amassed 44 career starts in the series, with 1 win and 6 podium finishes, though he has not yet claimed a championship there. His Racer Rating stands at 4,690, placing him 319th among active drivers on that scale. In the 2026 season he has started 3 rounds without a win or podium, sitting P60 in the standings, a reflection of a campaign still developing rather than of his broader career pedigree. Farfus remains an active competitor, continuing to add to a résumé built largely on endurance racing consistency and BMW factory experience.[2]
