🇮🇹 Stefano D'Aste

Stefano D'Aste is an entry-level professional racing in international endurance and touring car championships. He holds an FIA Silver grade, placing him below the full-professional ranks in sportscar and endurance racing. For the bulk of his career he competed in the World Touring Car Championship for All-Inkl.com Münnich Motorsport; he has raced in the 24H Series since 2017, driving production-based touring cars and GT4 machinery for Lotus PB Racing in multiclass endurance events across Europe and beyond.[1]

Over seventeen seasons, D'Aste took two wins and eight podiums across 208 starts. In the World Touring Car Championship, a single-driver, single-class field mixing amateurs through to graded professionals, he started 201 times between 2005 and 2015, finishing 14th in the championship standings in his final season. He has taken three podiums in seven starts in the 24H Series, endurance racing where each car rotates drivers through the duration of the race; these results place him mid-field in a multiclass grid that runs from club-level amateurs to full professionals sharing the same track.[2]

The drivers he races most often are two World Touring Car Championship champions: Gabriele Tarquini, a 2009 and 2018 title winner, and Robert Huff, the 2012 champion. Against both, D'Aste typically finishes behind them. His occasional scalps include Thed Bjork, the 2017 World Touring Car Championship champion, and fellow established professionals, beaten once each over the span of his career.
