Daniel Schneider is a professional endurance racing driver competing in a multiclass field that mixes amateurs with graded professionals. He races LMP2 prototypes in the European Le Mans Series for United Autosports, the team he has driven for across most of his career, and has also competed in Le Mans Cup, the Asian Le Mans Series and the World Endurance Championship. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, which sits below the full-professional Silver category in the endurance racing scale.[1]
Schneider has raced for eight seasons from 2019 onwards, accumulating 53 starts across multiple Le Mans-format championships. His record stands at eight podiums, including six in the European Le Mans Series across four seasons from 2023 to 2026. His first podium came in the 24H Series in 2019; he added one more in the Le Mans Cup during its 2020 to 2022 campaign. He has made two starts in the World Endurance Championship for United Autosports in 2025 and 2026. This season he is also competing in the Asian Le Mans Series for Vector Sport RLR.[2]
Racing in a field spanning Bronze and Silver amateurs alongside established professionals including Gold-graded drivers, Schneider runs closely matched with Anthony Wells, a fellow Bronze-graded professional who has made 40 Le Mans Cup starts and 22 in the European Le Mans Series. He also races regularly against Matthieu Vaxiviere, a Gold-graded established professional and the 2022 WEC Hypercar champion who won the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro/Am title in 2024. Schneider has finished ahead of Nick Cassidy, a Platinum-graded established professional and 2017 Super GT champion, and has beaten Richard Verschoor, a Gold-graded established professional with 129 Formula 2 starts.
