Yuhi Sekiguchi is an elite professional sportscar driver. His Racer Rating of 6,804 places him among the world's strongest drivers in endurance racing, a level that denotes sustained success in the very top fields of GT and prototype competition. His credentials rest primarily on 18 seasons in Super GT, where he has taken five wins and 19 podiums from 126 starts since 2008, culminating in the 2021 Super GT championship with TGR Team Sard. He holds FIA Gold status, the professional grading for sportscar racing. Between 2017 and 2019 he competed in Super Formula, winning twice and podiuming three times from eight starts; he also attempted single-seater racing in Formula 3 Eurocup and as a Macau fixture across 2010–2018, though without success at either.[1]
