Parker DeLong is an entry-level professional racing in single-driver sprint series and multiclass endurance competition in North America. His primary ride is the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, a national spec-class championship in which he has raced since 2024 for Parker Delong Racing. He also competes in the TGRNA GR Cup North America for TechSport Racing and has made four starts in GT4 America's Silver class driving shared-seat GT4 cars for Advance Motorsports.[1]
Across indexed racing since 2021, DeLong has accumulated 73 starts and two wins. His breakthrough came in the Whelen MX-5 Cup, where he has won twice and taken three podiums across 40 starts over three seasons. The 2026 season remains in progress; DeLong has taken one win from 14 rounds so far and currently sits tenth in the championship standings. In TGRNA, he has four podiums from 16 starts. His excursions into Trans-Am TA2 and SCCA Majors were brief, yielding seven and three starts respectively. His four GT4 America starts, all in 2026, have produced two podiums.[2]
DeLong's regular competition comes against the Whelen MX-5 field. Jeremy Fletcher, the 2025 series champion, and Jared Thomas, a three-time champion in the same series and FIA Silver graded driver, are frequent opponents; DeLong typically finishes behind both. He has beaten stronger established professionals in single-digit encounters. Carson Kvapil, who has raced in NASCAR Xfinity and Trans-Am TA2 at professional level, finished behind DeLong once. Brent Crews, a 2023 Trans-Am TA2 champion and FIA Silver graded, has been beaten twice. DeLong took a win at Road America in the final round of the 2026 Whelen MX-5 season.
