Alfio Andrea Spina is an entry-level professional racing single-seater open-wheel championships in Europe. He has raced Italian F4 and ADAC Formula 4, and in 2025 moved to Spanish F4 with TC Racing. Most recently he has joined Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe's Pro class for 2026, sharing a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo for Oregon Team in a multiclass endurance series that fields amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals together.[1]
His first indexed season was 2022, when he completed four starts in ADAC Formula 4 and 13 in Italian F4 for BVM Racing, taking a podium finish. He has contested three further seasons since, with 19 starts in Spanish F4 in 2025 and two starts in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe so far in 2026. Across 58 career starts he holds one podium. His standing in Italian F4, where he has his greatest experience, was mid-field in a field spanning amateur to graded professional drivers; his most recent single-seater campaign in Spanish F4 left him 17th in the championship standings.[2]
Against his regular opponents, Spina typically finishes ahead of Ethan Ischer, an entry-level professional with 53 Italian F4 starts, but consistently runs behind James Wharton, an established professional and FIA Silver driver who has progressed through Formula 3 and Formula Regional. He has finished ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, a generational driver and multiple junior champion who races in Formula 1, on two occasions; he has also beaten Arvid Lindblad, an elite professional with experience in Formula 2 and Formula 3, once.
