Pekka Saarinen is a professional racing driver, FIA Silver graded, whose indexed record spans two seasons across a decade. He raced in single-driver Formula Renault Eurocup competition in 2004 for SL Formula Racing, and later in multiclass endurance racing in the 24H Series, where he shared a TCR touring car in 2018.[1]
Saarinen made two starts in the Formula Renault Eurocup in 2004, taking a podium finish from those rounds and placing 18th in the season standings. His only other indexed start came 14 years later in the 24H Series. Across his three career starts on record, he finished ahead of Pastor Maldonado, a former GP2 champion and Formula 1 driver, and Simon Pagenaud, the 2016 IndyCar champion, each once.[2]
