Paul Fix is a semi-professional driver racing in multiclass national championships in the United States. He competes in Trans-Am, where he drives tube-frame V8 silhouette cars in the TA class and production-based GT machinery in the SGT class, and previously raced LMP3 prototypes in IMSA Prototype Challenge. His current team is Ave Motorsports.[1]
Fix has nine starts in IMSA Prototype Challenge across 2017, where he finished among the points scorers. He moved into Trans-Am from 2018 onwards, taking a win and a second podium across his nine seasons in the series; he has accumulated 12 starts in Trans-Am to date. The 2026 season is still in progress, with Fix sitting seventh in the championship standings after the opening round.[2]
Fix races regularly against professional-level opposition in multiclass fields that include graded drivers. He has usually finished behind established professionals such as Chris Dyson, a four-time Trans-Am TA champion, and Colin Thompson, an IMSA regular. He has taken a podium ahead of Kenton Koch, the 2017 IMSA Prototype Challenge LMP3 champion and multiple-title holder in GT racing, and has beaten Robby Foley, the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion, once across their meetings.
