Gavin Gleitsman is an entry-level professional racing in national single-class and multiclass championships in the United States. He competes in Trans-Am TA2, driving a tube-frame V8 silhouette car, and has also raced in SCCA Regionals, where he drives a spec Mazda MX-5 Miata in the SM class. His most recent activity is the 2026 Trans-Am TA2 season, where he currently sits 20th in the championship standings with seven rounds complete.[1]
Gleitsman has nine starts across two seasons of indexed racing. He took a podium finish in SCCA Regionals in 2024 and has spent this season building experience in Trans-Am TA2 against a field that includes professional and semi-professional competitors. He regularly races against Adrian Wlostowski, a former NASA Super Touring 2 champion with 62 Trans-Am TA2 starts, and Alon Day, an FIA Silver-graded professional who has raced in Indy NXT and Formula 3 Euro Series. Gleitsman typically finishes behind both drivers but has beaten Connor Mosack, a professional with extensive NASCAR Truck and Xfinity Series experience alongside 34 Trans-Am TA2 starts, on one occasion and Alon Day once as well.[2]
