🇫🇮 Emma Kimiläinen

Emma Kimiläinen is an entry-level professional racing driver, FIA Silver graded, who competed in the W Series, a single-class open-wheel championship, between 2019 and 2022. She drove for Puma W Series Team and Ecurie W during her time in the series.[1]

Across four W Series seasons Kimiläinen took two wins and eight podiums from seventeen starts. She finished eighth in the championship standings in her final season, 2022. Her best results came against the series' top drivers; she beat three-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick on occasion, and also took victories against Sarah Bovy, a professional driver with substantial experience in endurance racing and GT World Challenge Europe.[2]

Kimiläinen was closely matched with fellow entry-level professional Beitske Visser across multiple meetings, though she usually finished behind Chadwick when the two raced. Her competitive period in indexed racing was confined to the W Series. She has since retired from single-seater competition.
