Sarah Montgomery races as an entry-level professional in the World Racing League, competing in a multiclass endurance championship run across the United States where drivers share cars during events. She drives for AE Victory Racing in the GTO class, fielding primarily GT4-based machinery. Montgomery has raced single-seater and production-car series since 2012, with 38 starts across five indexed seasons.[1]

Her record began in NASA regional racing and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup from 2012 to 2019, where she accumulated 26 starts for Sick Sideways Racing and as a guest entry. She contested two American Endurance Racing starts in 2020 before joining AE Victory Racing for the 2026 World Racing League season. Through ten rounds so far, Montgomery has taken seven podiums and leads the GTO class championship standings.[2]

Montgomery races consistently against established drivers at her level. She meets entry-level professional Hernan Palermo regularly, typically finishing behind him across their shared Whelen Cup and NASA starts. She runs closely matched against Alex Bachoura, a two-time Mustang Challenge champion and an entry-level professional who has far more extensive experience in national series. She has beaten professional-graded drivers including Robby Foley, a Gold-graded pilot and two-time IMSA champion, three times across their meetings, and Robert Noaker, a Silver-graded Mustang Challenge champion, twice.
