Zachry Lee is an entry-level professional driver racing in national solo sprint and multiclass endurance championships in the United States. He races primarily for McCumbee McAleer Racing, most recently in the Mustang Challenge in Ford Mustang Dark Horse R cars and in GT4 America in shared-drive GT4 machinery. His FIA Bronze grading places him among amateur and gentleman drivers in sportscar racing, though his record in single-driver series shows stronger standing.[1]
Lee has spent ten seasons racing on record since 2016, beginning with 59 starts in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup between 2016 and 2021. He returned to racing in 2023 with two starts in TGRNA GR Cup North America before moving to the Mustang Challenge in 2024, where he has posted nine wins and sixteen podiums across twenty starts; he finished second in the 2024 Mustang Challenge championship and leads the 2025 season title hunt. In 2026 he has moved to GT4 America endurance racing and GT America sprint racing, taking one win in three GT America starts and accumulating nine starts in GT4 America.[2]
In single-driver racing he competes closely with Alex Bachoura, the two-time Mustang Challenge champion, finishing ahead of him on occasion despite Bachoura's back-to-back titles. He has also beaten established professionals in stronger series; he finished ahead of Kenton Koch, a 2025 GT4 America Silver champion and IMSA professional with over forty GT4 starts, once in their head-to-head meetings. His team, McCumbee McAleer Racing, fields a roster including the established professional Eric Curran and has recorded 43 wins across its operations in this index.
