Brandon Kidd is a Silver-graded semi-professional racing in national multiclass endurance and sprint series in the United States. He races for Automatic Racing, competing primarily in the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class in shared-driver GT4 production cars, and has recently moved into prototype racing in the Zenith Racing Series.[1]
Kidd has raced for eight seasons since 2018, with 27 starts across four series. His main body of work comes from fourteen starts in the IMSA Pilot Challenge with Automatic Racing between 2018 and 2024. He has taken three podiums so far, all arriving in his 2026 Zenith Racing Series campaign; he currently sits fifth in that championship with nine rounds complete.[2]
In the IMSA Pilot Challenge, Kidd regularly races against established competitors including Trent Hindman, a Gold-graded professional and two-time IMSA champion with 75 starts in that series, and Gregory Liefooghe, a regular Silver-graded entrant with 91 Pilot Challenge starts. He has finished behind both drivers more often than ahead. Kidd has beaten Chase Briscoe, an elite professional and 2016 ARCA champion with 219 NASCAR Cup starts, twice, and Corey Heim, an established professional who has won three consecutive NASCAR Truck championships, once; both results came in shared-car endurance racing where grid strength varies by co-driver pairing.
