Max Twigg is a Bronze-graded amateur endurance racing driver. He raced in multiclass and single-class sportscar championships across two decades of indexed competition, sharing his cars with professional co-drivers. His only indexed entry in the FIA GT Championship came in 2008, when he competed in a single-round campaign for Juniper Racing and finished 27th in the season standings. Sixteen years later, in 2024, he drove for IRC and TekworkX Motorsport in the Bathurst 12 Hour, a multiclass endurance race run across three countries with competitors ranging from amateurs to graded professionals.[1]
Twigg took a podium finish at Bathurst in the INV class, sharing the car in the 12-hour race. His FIA GT Championship start placed him in a field that ran from amateur entrants through to established professionals. Among the drivers he has finished ahead of in the indexed record are Marcel Fässler, a three-time WEC LMP1 champion and Platinum-graded professional, and Fabrizio Gollin, a 2004 FIA GT champion and established professional with extensive experience in GT racing and single-seaters.[2]
