🇺🇸 Dakota Dickerson

Dakota Dickerson is a professional, FIA Silver-graded driver who has built his career mainly in multiclass endurance racing in the United States, sharing LMP3 prototypes with co-drivers. His main team across that body of work has been MLT Motorsports. He also holds a single-class, solo-driver national title, the 2019 Formula Regional Americas championship, and is currently racing for Stratus Racing in the 2026 Zenith Racing Series.[1]

That 2019 Formula Regional Americas season produced five wins and eleven podiums from sixteen starts. The same year he moved into IMSA Prototype Challenge, where he raced LMP3 machinery for JDC MotorSports through 2022, taking three wins and eight podiums from eighteen starts. He carried that into IMSA WeatherTech's LMP3 class with Jr III Racing in 2022 and 2023, adding a win and three podiums from nine starts shared with co-drivers. Earlier, in 2015, he won three times racing a Mazda Miata in NASA competition, and single appearances followed in IMSA Pilot Challenge's TCR class with LAP Motorsports, in SVRA, and in SKUSA SuperNationals. In the 2026 Zenith Racing Series he sits eighth in the standings so far, with a win and four podiums from five rounds run to date.[2]

Among the drivers he meets most often are Dan Goldburg, a professional with starts across several IMSA series, and Tonis Kasemets, a Silver-graded professional who won the 2022 IMSA Prototype Challenge P3 title; Dickerson has generally finished ahead of both. He has also finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, champion of the 2018 Formula Regional Americas, 2019 Indy Pro 2000 and 2021 Indy NXT titles and now an IndyCar regular, on two occasions, and of George Kurtz, champion of the 2023 IMSA WeatherTech LMP2 class and the 2023 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am, also twice. MLT Motorsports, his main team, has fielded drivers including Steven Aghakhani, a professional, among its larger roster.
