Petri Suvanto is a retired Finnish driver who competed in the Star Mazda Championship and Pro Mazda Championship between 2012 and 2013. His career comprises 21 starts across two seasons, yielding a single podium finish and an average result of sixth place. Suvanto's Racer Rating of 4,019 places him at the professional level; he competed in fields containing drivers of mixed calibre, from semi-professionals to established professionals, and typically finished ahead of lower-ranked competitors. His record shows competitive rather than dominant performance within his peer group.[1]

Suvanto's closest rivals in the Star Mazda field included Juan Piedrahita and Diego Ferreira, both professional-level drivers rated in the 4,300s, against whom he held a narrow edge; he beat Piedrahita in 13 of 21 shared races but trailed Ferreira by one in their head-to-head count.
