🇺🇸 Ryan Tveter

Ryan Tveter is an established professional who raced single-seaters across eight seasons from 2012 to 2019. He competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, GP3 Series, Formula 2 and Formula Renault Eurocup, latterly for Trident, the team that fielded him for 33 of his 96 career starts.[1]

Tveter's indexed record consists of two podium finishes in the GP3 Series across 2017 and 2018, his most sustained run in a single championship. His entry into European single-seater racing began with Star Mazda in 2012, where he finished 15th in the championship standings. He moved through Formula Renault Eurocup in 2013 and 2014 before joining Carlin for two seasons in FIA Formula 3 European from 2015 to 2016, where he took 39 starts. His final competitive appearance came in 2019 with a two-race entry in Formula 2 for Trident.[2]

He raced regularly against Alessio Lorandi, an established professional and FIA Gold-graded driver with substantial experience across Formula 3 European, GP3 and Formula 2, typically finishing behind him. He also met Callum Ilott, a professional and FIA Platinum-graded driver whose career included 81 Formula 3 European starts, 55 races in IndyCar and 47 in Formula 2; Tveter consistently finished behind Ilott in their matchups. Tveter's strongest scalp came against George Russell, the generational talent and multiple champion, whom he outfinished seven times across their meetings in single-seaters.
