Raoul Hyman is a professional racing driver, FIA Gold graded, who competed across eight seasons from 2013 to 2023 in single-seater championships from national to international level. He spent the bulk of his career in Britain, racing for HHC Motorsport in GB3 where he took 4 wins and 15 podiums across 45 starts, then moved to single-seaters of rising calibre through FIA Formula 3 European and Formula 3 before securing his sole championship in 2022 in Formula Regional Americas, where he won 11 of 18 races and finished on the podium in 16. His final indexed season came in 2023 in Japan's Super Formula, where he took 9 starts for B-MAX Racing Team and finished 19th in the championship standings.[1]

Hyman raced regularly against George Russell, the generational driver and multiple champion, in his early career; he usually finished behind him but beat him in at least one race. He was closely matched against Arjun Maini, a professional Gold-graded driver who raced DTM, FIA Formula 3 European and Formula 2. His strongest result against top-tier opposition came against Charles Leclerc, another generational driver, whom he finished ahead of once. The fields he raced in mixed amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers, with Platinum and Gold graded professionals among the entry across national and international championships. His peak came in Formula Regional Americas, a field of comparable calibre to those he had raced in Europe, where he dominated the season and took the title.[2]
