Zack Meyer is a retired entry-level professional driver from Toronto who raced single-seater championships in North America between 2010 and 2014. He spent three seasons in the Star Mazda Championship with AIM Autosport, then moved through Pro Mazda Championship and Indy NXT before stepping back from the sport. His 49 starts across these series placed him in fields mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals.[1]
Meyer's most sustained effort came in Star Mazda, where he made 20 starts over three seasons with AIM Autosport and finished 16th in the 2012 championship standings. He then contested 16 races in Pro Mazda Championship in 2013 before moving to Indy NXT in 2014, where he started 12 times. A single appearance at the SKUSA SuperNationals in KZ2 completed his indexed record. His racing coincided with a period when these stepping-stone series remained active gateways for drivers pursuing open-wheel careers in North America.[2]
Meyer typically finished behind regulars such as Juan Piedrahita, a Silver-graded professional who raced the same series extensively, and Diego Ferreira, a professional who shared much of his competition.
