Gabby Chaves is a Colombian-American racing driver competing for Andretti Performance in the IMSA Pilot Challenge. He came up through the junior open-wheel ranks in the United States, winning the Indy Lights championship in 2014 before moving into the IndyCar Series, and he has since transitioned into sports car competition, where he now races in the Michelin Pilot Challenge alongside the broader WeatherTech SportsCar Championship scene. Across his career in the Pilot Challenge he has taken 9 wins and 29 podiums from 81 starts, and he captured the series championship in 2020, a result that stands as the high point of his record to date.[1]
