He races near-stock B-Spec hatchbacks, one-design Spec Racer Ford sports racers, and spec Mazda-powered formula cars in SCCA Majors and Regionals, with occasional appearances in SCCA Runoffs and Trans-Am TA2. His rating of 3,436 places him among developing competitors who have begun to establish themselves against semi-professional and professional fields.[1]
Over seven seasons from 2020 to 2026, Futrelle has compiled 20 wins and 24 podiums from 30 starts across these series. His record is heavily weighted toward SCCA Majors, where he has won 11 of his races and taken 14 podiums in 16 starts. In SCCA Regionals he won 7 of 8 starts with 7 podiums. His Runoffs appearances have yielded 2 wins from 4 starts. His only foray into professional touring cars came in Trans-Am TA2 in 2020 and 2021, where he made two starts and finished 14th in championship standings in 2021.[2]
