🇪🇸 Oscar Nogués

Oscar Nogués is a retired Spanish driver who raced in a single-class international touring car championship. He competed in the World Touring Car Championship for SUNRED Engineering across three seasons from 2006 to 2008, accumulating six starts. His appearances in the series came as rewards for his success in SEAT one-make racing, where he won the Spanish SEAT León Supercopa twice and took the inaugural SEAT León Eurocup in 2008.[1]

Nogués finished 22nd in the 2008 World Touring Car Championship standings across two rounds that season. His most productive year was 2006, when he made two starts for the championship, also racing once each in 2007 and 2008. The field he entered was mixed, combining amateur and semi-professional drivers with graded professionals; he typically finished behind established professionals such as Alain Menu and three-time champion Yvan Muller. He did beat Alessandro Zanardi, an established professional who competed in Formula 1 and International Formula 3000, on one occasion, and finished ahead of Rickard Rydell, another experienced touring car driver with 100 World Touring Car Championship starts, once as well.[2]
