Rickard Rydell is a Swedish retired racing driver who competed primarily in touring car racing. His early career included twelve starts in Formula 3 Macau between 1987 and 1993, driving for Navi Connection Racing, where he achieved two wins and five podium finishes. His most recent activity in Formula 3 Macau came in 1993, finishing nineteenth in a single round.[1]
Rydell became a prominent figure in touring car competition, notably winning the 1998 British Touring Car Championship and the 2011 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. He was also a consistent frontrunner in the European and World Touring Car Championships throughout his career. Rydell retired from professional racing in 2016.[2]
