Didier Artzet is a retired French racing driver who raced single-seaters in International Formula 3000 and Formula 3 Macau between 1987 and 1990. He spent most of his career with Apomatox, competing across 13 starts in fields that mixed amateur and professional drivers.[1]
Artzet's racing career spanned four seasons. He made two starts in Formula 3 Macau in 1987 and 1988 before moving to International Formula 3000, where he ran from 1988 to 1990 with Apomatox. He scored a single podium across his career and finished 15th in the 1990 International Formula 3000 championship standings.[2]
He raced regularly against established professionals including Marco Apicella, with whom he was closely matched, and Andrea Chiesa, who typically finished ahead of him. Artzet finished ahead of Allan McNish on one occasion and beat Johnny Herbert once across their meetings in the series.
