🇺🇸 Giovanni Ruggiero

Giovanni Ruggiero is an established professional stock car racing driver competing full-time in NASCAR Truck and part-time in the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Xfinity. He drives the No. 17 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage in the Truck Series and the No. 18 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing in ARCA, and is a member of Toyota Racing Development. His record spans four seasons from 2023 to the present across a mix of national single-class championships in the United States.[1]

Ruggiero has compiled 82 starts across the ARCA series, NASCAR Truck, and regional ARCA divisions, with six wins and 24 podiums. His breakthrough came in ARCA Menards, where he has taken four wins and 11 podiums in 18 starts for Joe Gibbs Racing; he also won once in nine starts in ARCA Menards East. In NASCAR Truck, where he has made 45 starts for TRICON Garage, he has one win and eight podiums, with most of his racing on ovals but a handful of road-course appearances. He has also competed in two NASCAR Xfinity rounds and four starts in regional road-racing competition.[2]

Ruggiero races consistently against professional and semi-professional stock car competitors. He regularly finishes ahead of Andres Perez de Lara, the 2024 ARCA Menards champion, and ahead of Toni Breidinger, an entry-level professional with extensive ARCA experience. He has finished ahead of Christopher Bell, an elite professional and 2017 NASCAR Truck champion, on two occasions, and ahead of Chase Briscoe, also elite professional and 2016 ARCA Menards champion, once. His wins in ARCA Menards include races at Michigan and Pocono in 2026.
