Andrés Pérez de Lara is a professional stock car racing driver competing full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Niece Motorsports, driving the No. 44 Chevrolet. A Mexican driver, he won the 2024 ARCA Menards Series championship in a single-class national stock car series that fields amateurs, semi-professionals, and graded professionals together. His career spans five seasons from 2022 to 2026 across ARCA and NASCAR's national series, with 102 starts accumulated.[1]

Through his ARCA years he took nine podiums in forty starts on the main series, adding two more podiums in ten starts in ARCA Menards East and two in four starts in ARCA Menards West. Forty-one of his forty-seven NASCAR Truck starts have come on ovals, with the remainder on road and street courses. His record in ARCA Menards proper was heavily oval-focused; he ran ovals in thirty-two of forty starts there. He has made one NASCAR Xfinity start and currently sits thirty-seventh in the Truck Series standings after his first two seasons with Niece Motorsports.[2]

In the mixed-ability fields he races regularly, Pérez de Lara typically finishes ahead of entry-level professionals Toni Breidinger and Frankie Muniz, both of whom he has encountered across ARCA and Truck competition.
