🇫🇷 Maceo Capietto

Maceo Capietto is a professional racing driver at the FIA Gold level, competing in endurance racing and single-seater championships. He races for DKR Engineering in the European Le Mans Series, driving LMP2 prototypes in multiclass competition, and for RPM in Formula Regional European. Across six seasons from 2021 onwards, he has started 76 times and taken five wins and twelve podiums.[1]

His breakthrough came in French F4 in 2021, where he won four races and finished on the podium ten times in sixteen starts. He moved into Formula Regional European in 2022 with RPM, where his single-seater career has been modest; one podium across four seasons suggests the step up to that level has been challenging. In parallel, Capietto has raced the European Le Mans Series since 2024, securing one win and a podium from fourteen endurance starts in LMP2, including the shared-car format typical of that championship. His WEC appearances have been limited to two starts so far.[2]

Among his regular opponents are Esteban Masson, a FIA Gold professional and 2025 European Le Mans Series LMP2 champion with whom Capietto is closely matched, and Lorenzo Fluxá, an established professional whom he usually trails. Capietto has finished ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, a generational driver now racing in Formula 1, and Leonardo Fornaroli, an elite professional and 2025 Formula 2 champion, though these remain isolated results in otherwise competitive fields. His recent form in 2026 included victories in the Porsche Carrera Cup France and a notable battle with Marvin Klein.
