Aaron Telitz is a professional sportscar driver competing in IMSA WeatherTech racing for Vasser Sullivan Racing, where he has driven a GT3 car across multiple seasons since 2019. He holds an FIA Gold grading, the full-professional classification in endurance racing. Telitz has also raced in Indy NXT single-seater competition and, in recent seasons, has competed in multiclass GT endurance series including GT World Challenge America and IMSA Pilot Challenge.[1]
His career has centred on IMSA WeatherTech, where he has taken six wins and 18 podiums across 74 starts. In 2020 he won the IMSA WeatherTech championship driving for Vasser Sullivan. Before moving to prototypes and GTs, Telitz won the 2016 Pro Mazda Championship with Team Pelfrey, taking six wins from 16 starts, and spent three seasons in Indy NXT from 2017 to 2019, scoring three wins and 11 podiums in 40 starts. He has also made appearances in GT World Challenge America, GT4 America, IMSA Pilot Challenge and the 24H Series, competing in both single-driver sprint and shared-car endurance formats.[2]
In IMSA WeatherTech, Telitz races regularly against established professionals graded at his level. He is closely matched with Robby Foley, the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion, and Philip Ellis, who won back-to-back IMSA WeatherTech GTD titles in 2024 and 2025. His record in open-wheel racing showed him competing against drivers who went on to stronger single-seater careers; he finished ahead of Pato O'Ward multiple times in Indy NXT, O'Ward now an elite professional with IndyCar experience and two series championships to his name.
