🇯🇵 Hiroki Yoshimoto

Hiroki Yoshimoto is a professional endurance and GT racing driver competing at the FIA Gold grade, the full-professional classification in sportscar racing. He has spent the majority of his 22-season career with LM Corsa in the Super GT championship, where he has taken nine wins and sixteen podiums across 137 starts since 2009. He also holds nine wins and twenty-one podiums across single-seater and touring car racing in earlier campaigns.[1]

Yoshimoto's record spans Formula 3 Macau and the GP2 Series in the mid-2000s, where he raced against future Formula 1 champions Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, finishing ahead of both drivers twice each. He contested the World Touring Car Championship for three seasons from 2011 and has made repeated appearances in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, adding three podiums in the former's multiclass endurance format. His primary focus has been Super GT, where he has raced modified and experimental production-based cars in shared-driver competition since 2009.[2]

In Super GT, Yoshimoto regularly faces established professionals and multiple series champions. He finishes consistently behind Nobuteru Taniguchi, a three-time GT300 champion whose 146 starts in the series place him among its most experienced drivers, whilst matching closely with Katsuyuki Hiranaka, an entry-level professional and fellow Gold-graded driver. LM Corsa, his team across nearly all his Super GT seasons, has fielded elite-level talent including Sho Tsuboi and holds fifteen wins across the grid, placing it among the stronger operations in the championship.
