🇺🇸 David Grant

David Grant is an entry-level professional racing in national solo sprint and multiclass endurance series in the United States. He holds an FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification in sportscar racing. Grant currently races Porsche Cayman P/A machinery for Grant Motorsports in the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America, where he sits seventh in the championship standings through four rounds completed so far this season.[1]

Grant spent five seasons in IMSA Prototype Challenge with JDC MotorSports from 2018 through 2022, taking three podiums across 25 starts in the LMP3 and P3 classes. He has since returned to racing in 2026 with two podiums from four Porsche Sprint Challenge starts to date. His record across both series sits at five podiums from 29 starts.[2]

Grant races in fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals. He has finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional with three national championships and an IndyCar record, and George Kurtz, an established professional and three-time international champion. In regular competition he runs closely matched with Tonis Kasemets, a professional and 2022 IMSA Prototype Challenge champion, and Jon Brownson, another entry-level professional competitor in the same series.
