Wim Spinoy is a retired Bronze-graded amateur endurance racing driver from Belgium. He raced in multiclass 24-hour championships, competing in the 992 Porsche Cup class, GT3 and GT4 machinery across the 24H Series with Red Ant Racing between 2019 and 2022, and made a single Le Mans Cup start in GT3 for 10Q Racing Team in 2021. His rating of 3,222 places him at entry-level professional level; Bronze grading sits at the amateur end of the FIA's sportscar classification, below Silver and the two full-professional grades.[1]
Spinoy took one win from four career starts, achieved in the 24H Series. His other podium finish came in that same championship. He finished 12th in Le Mans Cup championship standings from his single round, racing against fields that mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers in the same races. He beat the FIA Gold-graded established professional Thierry Vermeulen, a DTM and IMSA WeatherTech regular, on one occasion, and also finished ahead of Markus Palttala, a Gold-graded professional and 2012 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie Cup champion who has raced IMSA WeatherTech and FIA GT Championship.[2]
