Alessio Deledda is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in GT World Challenge Europe for VSR, FIA Silver graded. He drives a Lamborghini in the endurance format. Across seven seasons from 2018 to 2025, Deledda has raced in single-seater championships including Formula 3, Formula 2, and DTM, as well as in sports car racing; his primary team early in his career was Campos Racing, where he made 36 of his 116 starts.[1]
Deledda raced Italian F4 in 2018 before moving to Formula Renault Eurocup in 2019. He stepped up to Formula 3 that same year with Campos Racing, competing across two classes in a multiclass field of amateurs and professionals, and returned for a full campaign in 2020. He contested Formula 2 in 2021 across both its classes, then returned to single-seaters with DTM in 2022 and 2023 for SSR Performance, racing a national German championship. His focus has shifted toward endurance racing since 2023; he made a one-off start in IMSA WeatherTech that year and has competed in GT World Challenge Europe from 2023 into 2025.[2]
Deledda's record in the single-seaters where he spent most of his early career has seen him meet graded professionals regularly. Against Liam Lawson, an elite professional and current Formula 1 driver, he typically finished behind him but beat him twice. He has also finished ahead of Oscar Piastri, the 2021 Formula 2 champion and now a Formula 1 driver, once. His endurance efforts have brought him into GT racing at a semi-professional level with established teams.
