Bent Viscaal is a Dutch racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Proton Competition. He came through the European junior single-seater ranks before moving into sports car racing, where he built a reputation in the European Le Mans Series and was recognized as that series's Rookie of the Year in 2022. That background in prototype and GT machinery provided the foundation for his subsequent step up to WEC competition.[1]
Across his career Viscaal has amassed 74 starts without yet recording a win, a podium, or a championship title. His Racer Rating stands at 4,585, placing him 681st among active drivers on a scale where the leading names in the sport typically sit between 10,000 and 11,500. In the 2026 season he has taken part in one round for Proton Competition, currently sitting 140th in the standings with no wins or podiums to his name so far. Viscaal remains an active competitor in WEC, continuing to build on the endurance racing experience he established through his European Le Mans Series campaigns.[2]
