Raphaël Fournier is an entry-level professional racing in the TCR World Tour, a single-class international touring car championship that fields amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers together. He races for JSB Competition, a small operation fielding two drivers on the grid.[1]
Fournier's first indexed season came in 2025, when he completed three starts in the TCR World Tour and finished 22nd in the championship standings. His results included finishes ahead of established professionals; he beat Mikel Azcona, a FIA Gold-graded driver and 2022 FIA World Touring Car Cup champion, at least once. He also outfinished Aurélien Comte, a professional with 40 FIA World Touring Car Cup starts, on two occasions.[2]
His regular opponents in the series include two much stronger drivers. Thed Bjork, the 2017 World Touring Car Championship champion and an established professional with over 150 starts in major touring car series, has been a consistent benchmark; Fournier usually finishes behind him. Esteban Guerrieri, a FIA Platinum-graded driver and double champion in Indy NXT and the FIA World Touring Car Cup with more than 140 international starts, similarly runs ahead of him most often.
