Gene Albert was a professional driver who competed in a single NASCAR Xfinity race during the 2003 season, driving for Tennessee Mountain Boys Racing. His one indexed start came in a national mixed-level championship that fielded amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals on the same grid.[1]
Albert finished 42nd in the 2003 NASCAR Xfinity standings. In his sole race outing he finished ahead of Joey Clanton and Jamie Aube, both of whom were professionals with considerably more extensive records in the series; Clanton would go on to make 18 Xfinity starts and Aube 46. Tennessee Mountain Boys Racing was a small operation that fielded three drivers across the index without recording a win.[2]
