Greg Hosselbarth is a club-level driver who raced in two multiclass championships across five seasons. He competed in American Endurance Racing from 2017 to 2019, driving production-based cars in shared-driver endurance racing where each car carried a crew of two or more drivers rotating through races held across two countries. From 2021 to 2022 he raced NASA's Thunder Roadster GTR class, piloting a purpose-built tube-frame roadster with a Hayabusa engine in solo sprint races run entirely in the United States for Thunder Roadster.[1]
Across 14 starts Hosselbarth took two wins and five podiums. He won once in American Endurance Racing from eight starts and once in NASA from six starts, with three podiums in the endurance series and two in NASA. His most recent activity came in 2022, when he finished twenty-fourth in the NASA championship standings across two rounds.[2]
Hosselbarth regularly encountered stronger drivers in both series. He typically finished behind Alex Wolenski and Glenn Schattman, both club-level racers with substantially more experience across multiple championships. He beat entry-level professional Dan Corcoran twice and on one occasion finished ahead of Aaron Jeansonne, a professional FIA Silver graded driver with extensive Mazda MX-5 Cup and NASA experience, though Jeansonne remains the stronger competitor overall. His NASA team, Thunder Roadster, operates as an established outfit with multiple race wins and a driver roster that includes professional-level competitors.
